Bentley's Law

On April 13,2021, we lost our son and daughter in law and 4month old grandson in a car crash. They all 3 parished because of a person driving under the influence. Not long after was when I created Bentley's Law. It's been my goal from the beginning to make Bentley's Law nationwide. So many children are left without their parents because of being killed by drunk driver's. My son and daughter in law left behind two children, Bentley's 5 and Mason 3. Bentley is their oldest surviving son, in which the name Bentley's law comes from.

Bentley's Law will require offenders who kill a parent/ parents of surviving children to pay child maintenance/child support to the surviving child/children. It is my belief that this law will help stop driving under the influence.

To often families are left to suffer such a horrific loss, and become the sole support financially of the child/children left behind.

We have to make a change, and hold the offenders accountable for their actions, as we all suffer a life sentence of loosing our children due to a completely preventable crash.

Bentley's Law is moving very well from state to state. Things can get pretty costly, as we will be traveling, lodging and such to continue this mission of change, to bring Bentley's Law nationwide.

I was not sure exactly how much is needed so I set it at 5,000 ,however I'm sure it would be more.
