BeoBash 2018

The Beowulf Bash is an annual party held BY the HPC community FOR the HPC community. It’s funded entirely by vendor sponsorship. To be clear, this is a break-even event for the community; there is no profit motive here.

We celebrate the people who invented the Beowulf methodology around which much of our industry was built. 

For the first time, this year’s effort has come up about $10K short in sponsorship and now needs champions to help it through to the finish. That will have to come out of the organizers' pockets — and we're all volunteers. Each year, we donate time and effort to ensure the Beowulf community has a chance to talk, mingle, and have fun.

If anyone who is part of this community can kick a few bucks our way, it would be extremely appreciated. We don't expect to be able to make up the entire shortfall, but everything helps!

Alternately, if your company would like to sponsor officially, we can
provide a PPT slide with your company message in rotation on two 9-foot
screens throughout the event and the 750+ badge swipes from attendees
for $2K.
