7 Year Old TOMBSTONE Fundraiser for her former Classmates Mother Sandra Martinez

Maria – Esther Chavez and Karen Martinez went to Castle Rock’s Cantril preschool four years ago and became best friends. Over the past four years they have enjoyed birthday’s holidays and family events together even though they attend different elementary schools here in Castle Rock. When Karen’s mom Sandra Martinez passed away recently Maria –Esther wanted to help the family with a fundraiser for her friend. On March 26, 2022 Maria – Esther will be hosting a fundraiser event at Wrangler Park from 11am to 2PM in hopes of raising enough money for the family tombstone. If you are unable to attend in person you are encouraged to donate to this fundraising event via gofundme.com, in doing so Maria Esther and Karen will write your first name on a balloon for the balloon release.

Sandra Martinez Serrano

FEBRUARY 23, 1983 – JANUARY 29, 2022

The morning of January 29th, 2022, we lost our beloved Sandra and unborn child very suddenly and unexpectedly at the age of 38. Sandra was born February 23rd, 1983, in Ixtapan de la Sal, Mexico to Roberto Martinez Marcial and Sara Serrano Gomez.

Sandra was the type of person that always made you feel welcome and special. She was known for her positive attitude and extreme kindness. She will always be remembered for her amazing smile that would light up any room and her sweet contagious laughter. Those she loved knew she would always be there for them because she loved so deeply.

Sandra is survived by her husband and best friend of 12 years, Jesus Castruita Ramirez, and beloved daughters, Kaylee Lizzet Castruita Martinez, and Karen Castruita Martinez. Her parents and siblings: Juan Martinez, Minerva Martinez, Josefina Martinez, Margarita Martinez, Alejandra Martinez, Javier Martinez, Rosalinda Martinez, 8 nephews and 5 nieces.

Heaven needed a special angel and God has brought you home. Those we love don’t fully go away, they walk beside us everyday unseen, unheard, and always near us. You will always be loved and carried in our hearts.

The family would like to thank everyone that has helped and supported in this very sad time. We would also like to thank Kerri Jason at Olinger Andrews Caldwell Gibson for being so kind and St. Francis of Assisi church for helping us through this difficult time.

Perdimos a nuestra amada Sandra y el bebe que llevaba, a la edad de 38 años, el día 29 de Enero 2022. Sandra nació el 23 de Febrero de 1983 en Ixtapan de la sal, México, hija de Roberto Martinez Marcial y Sara Serrano Gomez.

Sandra fue el tipo de persona que siempre nos hizo sentir bienvenidos y especial. Era conocida por su actitud positiva y extrema amabilidad. Ella siempre será recordada con su increíble sonrisa que iluminaria cualquier cuarto y su dulce risa contagiosa. Aquellos los que amaba sabían que siempre estaría allí para ellos. Ella siempre amo y vivió contentamente.

Le sobreviven su esposo y mejor amigo de 12 años, Jesús Castruita Ramirez, sus queridas hijas: Kaylee Lizzet Castruita Martinez y Karen Castruita Martinez. Sus padres y hermanos: Juan Martinez, Minerva Martinez, Josefina Martinez, Margarita Martinez, Alejandra Martinez, Javier Martinez y Rosalinda Martinez, 8 Sobrinos y 5 Sobrinas.

Dios te tiene en el cielo. Dios necesitaba un ángel especial como tú. Las personas que amamos no desaparecen por completo, ellos caminan a nuestro lado todos los días, inauditos y siempre cerca de nosotros. Siempre serás amada y llevada en nuestros corazones.

La familia de Sandra quiere agradecer a todos lo que nos han ayudado y apoyado en este momento tan difícil. Nos gustaría agradecer a Kerri Jason en funeraria Olinger Andrews Caldwell Gibson por ser tan amable. Agradecidos con la Iglesia de St. Francis de Assisi, por ayudarnos en estos momentos difíciles.
