Bereavement Fund for Jen, Max, and Starling

Jen, Max, and Starling are now living with the loss of their husband and father, Jared. For those who know and love this family, let's rally around them by lessening their burden.

Jen has served as a community leader in her work as a yoga teacher in Knoxville for 20 years. She has guided innumerable students towards comfort, stability, and ease within themselves with her skillful presence, advanced mind-body knowledge, and generous, loving care. If you know her, you know that she is living out her passion through this work, and we have all benefitted as a result. Now is the time we can repay her for unquantifiable contributions to our community.

In recent months, Jared's ongoing health issues led to repeated hospital visits, doctor's appointments, other medical expenses, and lost wages. Jen and Jared are self-employed contractors, and their high-cost healthcare coverage is atrociously inadequate. These events leave Jen with insurmountable costs while she and their children deal with their crushing loss.
