Haggar Ouko's sister-Josephine Owino Fundraiser

With humble acceptance of God’s will, we announce the passing of Josephine Omino Onyina Owino in Nairobi, Kenya on August 26, 2020, after a short illness.
She was the beloved daughter of the late Joram Oula Ng’on’g and the late Joyce Amollo Oula of Sakwa Kapiyo, Bondo Township. Treasured wife of the late Onyina Owino and cherished mother to Mary Atieno, Lynette Owino, Charles Owino, Simon Owino and Victor “Tusa” Owino.
She was stepdaughter to: the late Monica Wanjiru Oula, the late Peres Abonyo Oula and Monica Mukulu Oula and beloved sister to Haggar Ouko, Sophia Major amongst others.
Granddaughter to the late Owegi Ng’on’g and the late Agnes Atieno Ng’on’g.
Daughter-in-law to the late ex-chief Japeth Owino and the late Rosalia Owino. Sister-in-law to the late Akipo Odhiambo, Ruben Opon Owino, Dan Ojijo Owino, Angela Owino, Samuel B. Ouko, the late Gabriel Major amongst others.
Loving niece to the late ex-chief Edward Ochola, Josiah Ochieng, Pamela Ang’awa, Alice Okoth amongst others. Adored aunty to Jane Ouko, Kesia Ouko, Joseph Ouko, Paul Ouko, Isabelle Odhiambo amongst others. Precious grandmother and great grandmother to many.
A memorial service honoring Mama Josephine will be held on Thursday, September 3rd at Jericho SDA Church. Burial will take place on Monday, September 7th, 2020 at her home in Karachuonyo, Kamser-A, Osika.
Rest in Peace Nyar Kapiyo. It is well. You will remain in our hearts forever. Amen.
