Bernard is truly one of the kindest souls you'll ever meet. He's not just a driver, he’s a friend, a listener, and a steady presence in our community. I first met Bernard a few years ago in my hometown, where he quickly became known for his warmth, reliability, and the way he always goes above and beyond to help people get to where they need to be. Whether it's a local airport run or a trip across town, Bernard has always been the go-to person for so many of us.

This past year, Bernard's car, which he depended on for his livelihood, was broken into and damaged beyond repair. Since then, he's been borrowing a family friend's car just to keep doing what he loves, driving people safely to their destinations.

In the midst of this hardship, Bernard has remained remarkably resilient. Over the past few years, he has endured the heartbreaking loss of both his wife and his son. Yet through it all, Bernard continues to have the most positive outlook and a heart full of love for those around him. He truly believes that his purpose in life is to help people, whether it's getting them safely to their destination or offering a friendly ear during a quiet ride. We've shared countless heart-to-hearts in his car, and each conversation reminds me how special he is and how lucky the world is to have someone with a heart like his.
