Bernie Beaton and family

We never thought we'd be writing something like this, but life can change in an instant. Our well traveled and well known, hard working friend Bernie was recently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Devastating news to himself, his family and many friends.

Now, he’s facing the biggest fight of his life. Bernie is a devoted husband and father to four children and two grandchildren. He has ALWAYS been their rock, now, he needs our support, we need to be the rock.

Cancer doesn’t just take a toll on your body—it hits your finances hard as well. Bernie is unable to work, and his wife, Bernadette is at his side day and night fighting this battle with him. The cost of treatment, travel for specialized care, and the family’s everyday expenses are adding up quickly.

We want to make sure Bernie doesn’t have to fight this battle alone. That’s why we're asking for your help, in any way you can, if in Mabou, do what they do, they're great at it.
