Bernie Fischer Accident Recovery Fund

On Thursday, August 4th, Bernie was performing his job as a flag man for an asphalt company when he was struck by a car in Lakeville, NY. He is currently at Strong Hospital with serious injuries that doctors say will require months to recover. Bernie's wife Sue (our sister) is now traveling back and forth from Livonia to the hospital to be with him. When he can return home, his house will require substantial alterations so that he will be able to recuperate.

We are requesting any support people are willing to give. In the short term, these funds will help Sue and the rest of Bernie's family to continue visiting while he is in the hospital. Over the long-term, these funds will help prepare Bernie's home to make it accessible when he returns.
