BERNIE SANDERS 2020 MURAL

We are raising funds to paint a 700 square foot Bernie Sanders 2020 mural.
In 2016 we watched Bernie Sanders shine a light on political issues that affect 99% of Americans. He helped articulate how the greed and corruption of the 1% has disenfranchised the rest of us. Even now Bernie Sanders continues to push these political issues further into the mainstream media.
We have a crowded field of 2020 Democratic candidates who have almost all taken up his platform and policies. We want to help the candidate who originated these policies to win the primary.
We want to exhaust all means of getting Bernie Sander's name out there before the primaries. This includes putting up a large mural on the side of a building in Kansas City MO. The wall we have chosen is on a major east-west thoroughfare that sees thousands of cars a day.
Graphic Designer; Kathleen Ann Murray helped us redesigned our original concept. The new concept is more effective and direct and will simplify the message of Bernie Sander's campaign.
We are asking for $2,000.00 to cover the cost of surface prep and night time lighting improvements, paint and supplies, scaffolding and compensation for the muralists labor. We hope this is the first of many murals but we need to start off with a bang. We want to inspire more people to check out Bernie Sanders and understand what he is fighting for.
All donations will go to the mural, artists, and a maintenance budget to buff out graffiti to keep this looking good through primaries and hopefully into the general.
