Bert aka chewy

We would like everyone to meet Bert, aka chewy. He is less than one year old and is a mini golden doodle puppy who needs everyone’s help! Unfortunately Bert came to us from crystal cleft because he was removed from a kill shelter to be saved from being put down. He was abused before he was dropped off to face the unthinkable .  Bert has a disorder called hydrocephalus: which is fluid in the brain! When it gets really cold it’s very painful for him , this causes him to stay inside while he sits by the door only to watch his bff’s Miley and Axel playing outside! At approximately 3am this morning Bert was woken in the mitts of having a seizure, as time went on we knew something was seriously wrong. At that moment we knew we had to take him for help. As right now he is in the ICU at north view animal hospital. He is not doing well and we need everyones support to get him back home! He was only supposed to camp out at our home while we found him a permanent residence but as every day passed he became a larger part of the family and we couldn’t find it in our hearts to let him go. He means the world to our family and friends! He is one of a kind! If we make in threw the next few days it will only be the beginning of the long journey before being transferred to Ohio state veterinary center . With all of the medication, and tests it’s hard to say if he will make it! It’s extremely expensive! We don’t want to have to make a decision based upon a financial situation to ensure his safe and healthy return home. Please help save our chewy. He promises to give you all the kisses if you see him! Anything helps! WE MEAN ANYTHING! This is a hard time especially for our family if you’re familiar with our crazy family! We never for saw this coming! We appreciate your help and support!
