As I’m sure you have heard, the historic and iconic Bert’s Bar is one of the many Pine Island staples destroyed by Hurricane Ian's wrath. Bert’s was the place with the million dollar view, great food, and good

times, where locals were old friends and tourists were new friends. A place where some of the best local artists played six nights a week, and the corky characteristics are what made us so memorable.

Bert’s was lucky to have employed 42 amazing people that were more than co-workers; we are a family who loved our jobs and our customers. For many, this has been an emotionally devastating time. As all staff is doing everything they can to find new employment, it is very difficult with fewer opportunities available. We would appreciate any contribution to keep our team on their feet and spirits high.

We will rebuild. We will see each other again.
