Help the Scheller Family

Over the past three years, the Scheller family has gone through many struggles after experiencing the diagnosis of a non-operable malignant pilocytic astrocytoma brain tumor of their 14-year-old son, Brayden.  At this point, there is not much that the family can do for Brayden but whatever they can to keep him as comfortable as possible. His parents are home-schooling Brayden for his safety, as he has to use extra caution to avoid any accidents that can make his condition worse. Brayden is legally blind due to this cancer as well. His parents work as much as they can to be able to provide for Brayden and his three other siblings. Last year Brayden's father, Gary, lost his job due to Covid. Now Gary is working three jobs to help pay for Brayden's medical bills while keeping up with regular expenses. Even though Brayden has an insurance policy through Medicaid, not every medical expense has been covered and the additional bills have been accumulating. Grocery bills have been expensive for the family of six. Ramen noodles have been the main staple for the family in between helpful loads of groceries from friends.  With Gary's job loss the family has also had to move into a 900 square foot small trailer home.  Recently, black mold has been found in the house and Gary has been doing what he can to eradicate it. After much consideration and with the advice from the family and friends around him, Gary has decided that he has to get his family out of this home and into a healthier one. With the nearly endless medical bills for Brayden coming in, along with the grocery bills to feed his family, Gary has been struggling to find another home that is affordable considering the fact that the medical and grocery bills are huge monthly costs that will not go away. Brayden's family will benefit greatly from any funds received. When the medical bills, grocery costs, and housing payments are covered, the Scheller family will be able to begin enjoying life again and Brayden's comfort and happiness will benefit from that. This support will be greatly appreciated not just by the Scheller family, but by his friends who are trying to spread awareness through this page.
