Bessey family

As most of you who are reading this know, Paul Bessey unexpectedly passed away this morning. Leaving behind his loving family.
Mr Bessey was a life long resident of north Hudson/ Schroon Lake. He attended SLCS. He spent his career working for the town, putting in countless hours in the winter plowing, to keep us all safe. If you didn’t know him from working for the town or going to school you may have known him for selling firewood as he did that for many years.
I think I speak for everyone when I say that Bonnie has been a pillar of our community for some time now, she would give the shirt off her back to someone who needed it, whether she knows them or not. Most of you if you don’t know her by name would recognize the face behind the dollar store counter. She goes out of her way for all of us in the community, whether that be setting aside your favorite sports team snacks, special orders for your kiddos, or yourself, or just being a friendly face and always trying to make people smile and laugh and enjoy their day.
I hope that we can ban together as a community to show our support for her and her family as she mourns the loss of her best friend. I hope that we can give her time to spend with her family without having to worry about fiscal concerns.
Please know that any amount will help.
