Me and My Family Lost Everything Including Our Mothers Ashes

On the evening of July 27th I was coming from picking my daughter up from daycare and my sister called me crying the same way she did when we found out that our mother passed.I knew then it was very serious.She started telling me that the fire extinguishers went off and the fire alarm warning everybody to get out and evacuate the building not knowing that the top of the building where the cars are parked in the garage were burning fast and one of which was my sister’s.We were all devastated but, I know how hard it was for my sister to raise me and her as well as finishing college and getting her Master’s.Its always been us for the last 5 years and we never thought that we would experience something so devastating.Our mothers ashes were in a urn.That’s the only thing that I wish I could get back.Material things come and go but, our mother was very dear to our hearts and having her in our home left a kindred spirit that no one else could ever replace.My daughter having to see her only place called home in flames.Its been so hard and I know God has always had his hand on us and our mother is watching over us so this will just be another testimony for us because we are going to get through this as a family .We are literally all we have.My sister lost her car, we lost our beds everything household you could think of my daughters things and the list goes on it’s so emotional for me right now to even put our story out there but, getting help for our family means the world to me and if my sister could do it for us I can too.I love her dearly and I want her to know that she has people in her corner and a community that will come together to help her.Thank you all for the kind words, support and contributions.
