Best Instrument Repair Needs Your Help!
Donation protected
Musicians in the Bay Area from all stages in life have come to us for help when they needed it most: Repairing their instruments. Whether it was a beginning student with a stuck key right before a school recital, or the professional touring musician with a last minute horn adjustment before they performed on stage for hundreds or thousands of fans, Best Instrument Repair has ensured that their Music would not be silenced.
Musicians have always counted on our technicians to keep their instruments working properly and provide other essential supplies to keep them performing their Best. We are proud to have been able to support the greater music community from our home in Downtown Oakland for over 80 years.
Unfortunately the year 2020 brought many challenges for all of us, including the repair shop. We are committed to preventing the spread of COVID-19 and had to shut down the shop for over 3 months. The stay-at-home regulations brought more trials and restrictions as walk-in traffic to our store was not allowed. Additionally, music education continues to be shut down in the Middle and High schools, Colleges and Universities. All music events supporting professional musicians are canceled well into the future.
All of these events have caused a huge financial burden on our business, putting our future, and the future of our employees and their families, into question.
We need your help . Your donation will help us stay open so that we will be able to continue to provide essential services to the public. Help us continue our legacy of being one of the Bay Area's longest living musical establishments.
Our sincerest Thank You, from our families to yours.
