Betania's Surgery Recovery Fund

We are well over our goal which means that Betania will receive all the funds in the initial ask even after the platform takes their cut, thank you again! We encourage everyone to direct their dollars to other folx in need this winter season and offer deep gratitude to you all for holding our beloved Betania with such kindness and warmth <3 Milla + Caitlin

Friends and community of our favorite Broom Bruja, you're needed! Our dearest Betania has had a string of terrible luck lately (prayers appreciated), and the worst of all is that the excruciating pain in their back has turned out to be a large tumor near their spine!

They are scheduled for surgery around Christmas and have been unable to work due to pain. Rent and bills are due, and even though they have good enough insurance, medical care is not free. THEY COULD REALLY USE OUR HELP!

The tumor is likely benign, but we won't know until after it's removed. After surgery, there will be at least 1-2 weeks of recovery-time before Betania can start working again. Money will help cover rent and past due bills, medical and food. They have a great surgery team and feel good about it, but they will need time to recover and recuperate.

We really want to make sure they're comfy, feel loved and can focus on healing and not have to stress about dollars! As you know, every little bit helps a lot AND spreading the word is great if you don't have the $$. Texts are appreciated as long as no response is expected. Prayers are always welcome, y'all know how we do.
