Beth Cromer-Lyon (aka Shine Like a Diamond)

Hi, we are Brandi and Jenni. We are asking for help in fundraising for a dear friend. It has been a very hard couple of years for our friend, Beth and her family. She has been through so much..... a rare aggressive cancer diagnosis, 5+ surgeries and 2 more coming in the next month. She has Mrsa, has been septic 15 times and hospitalized all those times equalling close to 4months spent in the hospital overall, because of the sepsis alone. She has been on a wound vac for more than 2 years and has had to have a picc line 4 times for on-going antibiotics and treatments. She has nurses coming 3+ times a week to help out as well to manage her wound at home.

As you can imagine this has been extremely taxing on not just her physical and mental health and families but on their budget. Hundreds of thousands in hospital bills, hundreds of thousands in doctor bills, and the additional cost of home care nurses as well. It is completely overwhelming and not do-able. Beth does not like the idea of asking for help but there are just NO more options other than to reach out to social media and her community.

She is trying to sell a lot of her personal diamond paintings (crafts) to try to pay her rent, electricity, internet, and phone bills. The amount of money that she could make from selling her diamond paintings is not even close to the amount that all of their bills come to in total. This is why we have decided to create a Go Fund Me for Beth and her family!

Her daughter, Maddie, who is almost 14 years old - is a type 1 diabetic and has medical bills as well that absolutely have to be paid due to the fact that she would NOT survive without insulin. Unfortunately everything that is happening to Beth does affect Maddie, emotionally. This in turn affects Maddie's blood sugar as well.

If we could raise the funds to help remove some of the strain that they're feeling financially - it would be a massive help to them! We understand completely if you can't financially help, but even just sharing this fundraiser with your own friends and family - would help tremendously!
