Our beloved Beth Greenfield recently passed on January 6. Beth was a loving wife, mother, and friend who touched the lives of those around her. She leaves behind her devoted husband, Charlie, and their three wonderful children, Claire, Catherine, and Greg.
Beth was one of the most strong, kind, hardworking, and witty women you could hope to meet. A lifelong research librarian, she had an insatiable appetite for learning and sharing all sorts of trivia. This was always paired with her passion for music which ranged from Prince’s Purple Rain to peak-era Backstreet Boys. Her love for her children was fierce and unabiding, and she’d talk your ear off about them given the chance.
During the later portion of her life, Beth increasingly struggled with her mental health and an eating disorder, but through it all, she maintained her vivacious sense of humor and love for her family and friends. Her family takes solace in the knowledge that she can rest peacefully with no more suffering or hardship. She will forever be remembered for her ability to throw a quick joke in any situation and her deep love for all people.
All donations will go toward paying for Beth’s end-of-life costs, final medical bills, and easing the financial burden of her husband Charlie, who is retired.
