WALKING THE WALK

I will be walking 150kms from Palm Beach along Sydney's Great Coastal Walk, across the indigenous countries that make up this beautiful coast of  Aboriginal Land, ending at the school in La Perouse.

I am raising money for The Australian Children’s Music Foundation (ACMF) who provide free, long term music programs and instruments to disadvantaged and Indigenous children across Australia.  The ACMF inspire creativity, bring joy and hope, and achieve positive educational and behavioural outcomes for many kids. The most recent school that the AMCF has started a programme in is at La Perouse School where my walk will end. 

The route and the custodians of the Amborignal lands I will have the pleasure of walking across are as follows:

The Garigal people - Barrenjoey through Narrabeen 
The Cammeraygal people - Manly through to Mosman
The Cammedraigal people - Balmoral Beach
The Cadigal people - Watsons Bay
Bidjigal and Gadigal people - Coogee
The Kameyal people - La Perouse
