Help us bring our loved one home to be buried!

Hi my name is Kathryn, I am Beth-Ann’s youngest sister. My sisters Teri and Cynthia and I created this go fund me to try and do anything we can to relief some of the stress our nieces are under. A few months ago, their mom went to her doctor and he had results of some blood work she had taken. My sister was there all by herself and was not expecting the doctor to tell her the reason she was not getting any better wasn’t from the MS, or Lupus she suffers from, it was a rare blood cancer. The cancer was called Primary myelofibrosis.

BethAnn hadn’t been able to work for many years due to MS & Lupus, she barely got by on her SSDI. Bethann had a companion her service dog Rosie, she is a miniature, golden retriever. She was my sisters lifeline. She would lay with my sister, alert her if her body was in need of help, she never left her side. Unfortunately, Rosie is in Florida. With our nieces traveling from across the USA. Rosie has been put on back burner but, needs to return to Rhode Island, where she will live with BethAnn’s sisters.

Bethann lost her battle on August 31st @ 3:30pm, right after receiving her last blessing from the priest. Her children are devastated. They want to give their mom a proper burial. My nieces live literally all over the country and will have to travel to Rhode Island to bury their mom.

The cost alone of them traveling has exceeded what they thought they had. They were able to get BethAnn cremated and put in a nice cherry wood box with photos.

They still need to pay for the church, the priest, the organist , the cemetery, the vault to place her in, & the writing on the grave stone.

We are so blessed & grateful to all who have reached out, shared, donated, called and texted.

We are almost to the goal and then my nieces will be able to return to their homes knowing before they leave, they took care of their mom ( my best friend, partner in crime, my “other sister”)

I know many of you are struggling financially, and money is tuff. Every dollar donated is going directly to her children for her burial and anything left over could help us get Rosie back to RI, to her fur cousins, and loved ones there who need her as much as she needs them.

Our sister was such a giving soul, giving of her time, giving of herself, she tried to help anyone she could never expecting even a thank you. It would be beautiful if people could do good deed & pay it forward in her name.

We are so lost, unprepared, shocked, and grieving beyond belief.
