BethAnn Schaeber and Family

Initially, we were hesitant about establishing a GoFundMe page for BethAnn and Paul, however, we have received several inquiries from friends and family members about ways to donate to the family.

A little backstory- BethAnn is a mom of three teenage boys, wife of Paul Schaeber, and a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner

from Canonsburg, PA. She received the shocking news on June 15th that she has a high-grade glioblastoma. She has

already received one brain surgery and they have opted to do a second riskier surgery after finding that her tumor will

continue to repair itself and thus is less likely to respond to chemotherapy.

Based on the above information and requests, we are establishing the page for the following reasons:

1. BethAnn carries the health insurance for the family. The future is unknown, but we do know that there is a possibility the family will be forced to change over to Paul’s employer-sponsored health insurance plan—and incur unexpected

expenses in the form of increased deductibles and co-pays.

2. BethAnn does not qualify for any disability through her employer/s as she is technically part-time for each of her employers.

3. BethAnn is trying to build as many memories as possible with her family while she is healthy. In addition to medical

expenses this may contribute to her ability to take a last minute trip with her husband and three teenge boys.

Those of you who know BethAnn realize she is not one to accept help easily from others--in fact she is usually the one

doing the helping.
