Bethany Wheeler’s Family

Our family has recently gone through a major life changing delivery for our fourth son. I went through my pregnancy knowing I had placenta previa with the possible diagnosis of an accreta. Unfortunately the scans were right and I underwent a hysterectomy directly after a cesarean birth which took over four hours. I lost over half my blood volume and was given six units of blood transfusions to replace.

Our expected medical bills will begin rolling in and we are at max capacity with the stress of the unknowns having our son in the NICU. He was born at 34 weeks and is expected to stay a bit longer.

We’re praying the support from friends and family will allow us time to get back on our feet as I heal postpartum from this trauma to my body and settle back in the day to day life at home with our four children. Your help would mean Patrick can be home for a paternity leave our family desperately needs.

Any and all support is appreciated and noticed! We’ve had so many people reach out and offer their help. I have prayed and feel comfortable, although vulnerable asking for any kind of help at all. But have accepted that this is where we are and we are surrounded by people who care and love us. If a donation is not feasible I ask that you pray on our behalf that whatever amount is gifted that it multiply and that our family will finally get home from the NICU and be together.
