Bethlehem Township Police Association Noshember
Tax deductible
WHY DOES THAT COP HAVE A BEARD?
The Bethlehem Township Police Association welcomes back the "Noshember" season.
With full support from the Bethlehem Township Chief of Police Daniel Pancoast, Officers are going to participate in a "No Shave November" donating money to Peaceable Kingdom Animal Shelter in order for the Chief of Police to waive the department's policy regarding shaving. Officers will be penalized (required to donate additional money) should they shave. Since the Officers participating are always in contact with the public, they hope to spread the word of the fundraiser and the needs of the Peaceable Kingdom, Inc just by being visible in public with their unkempt faces.
The Bethlehem Township Police Association invites all to participate. Consider skipping that haircut the next month. Forget about buying that razor or shaving cream. Maybe even skip that waxing appointment. Take whatever cost that was going to be, and donate it to an organization who does so much for our local animals.
Officers will be donating $35.00 each per month to have the policy waived; an additional $20.00 should they shave. Any donation, however much, is greatly appreciated. 100% of the funds received go directly to Peaceable Kingdom.
When our police recover found dogs, Peaceable Kingdom continuously offers their services to the Bethlehem Township Police Department to help get them the care should they need it. Peaceable Kingdom also assists with locating a safe home for those found dogs without owners.
Peaceable Kingdom is a no-kill shelter. They do not euthanize animals except in cases of unacceptable aggression or incurable illness. Their mission is:
-To provide care, protection, and assistance to animals who are mistreated, injured, abandoned, or otherwise in need.
-To offer low-cost veterinary services providing all pet owners a place to get care for their pets.
-To minimize animal overpopulation through low-cost spay/neuter clinics.
-To create community awareness and gain support of animal needs through educational efforts.
The fundraiser is an effort of the Bethlehem Township Police Association.
