BETNS Christmas SINGATHON is aid of Le Chéile

Hello everyone!

 

This year BETNS are holding another SINGATHON is aid of a local charity 'Le Chéile'.
The live event will take place on FRIDAY the 17th of December!

This year it is even bigger and better! The whole school is involved and every class from Junior Infants up to 6th Class will be preforming 2/3 songs to help fundraise money for our chosen charity. There will even be some school choir performances and make sure to look out for some teachers jiving around the Christmas Tree! The Singathon will run all day FRIDAY 17th and we will update you during the week with details of how to log on to see the show!

 

The students have been rehearsing and are really looking forward to raising money to help support 'Le Chéile'. Any donation you can make no matter how big or small to help our fundraising efforts would be amazing!

 

Le Chéile work to support local communities , in the Dublin 17, 13 and 5 area. They support young people aged 12 -23 years of age and their families, who are experiencing challenges

 

Many of the young people need support and are offered mentoring and links to services. These young people may have dropped out of school/ are at risk of early school leaving/have poor school attendance, may be getting into trouble or experiencing addiction issues or challenging home /local environments.

 

The young people need mentors who can listen, care, give advice, and share information and life/career experience with them, where there may not be an available adult who can give them support at that time in their lives.

 

Whole family support also is given, to include referral to a family support service and /or funding family events or meals.
