Betsi Pasco is a Paraprofessional at Pittsfield High School. In November, 2017, Betsi was injured on the job, and she filed an incident report with the District. Because she was injured at work Betsi also completed and submitted the required paperwork to file a claim for benefits under the Massachusetts' Worker's Compensation Law. The District ordered Betsi to return to work (on restricted duty) even though she had a note from her Doctor stating that she was unable to return to work. On December 19, 2017 the District terminated Betsi's employment. The Union has grieved Betsi's termination, and she is moving forward with her Worker's Compensation claim. But Betsi needs your help. She has been living with friends and has just about exhausted all of her personal funds. We're asking for a donation of $6.00 to help us reach our goal of $1500.00 to keep Betsi afloat until this issue is resolved.
