Betsy Epstein Grady

In September of 2023, my lifetime friend, Betsy Epstein Grady suffered from a stroke which has compromised the left side of her body. Betsy is 56 years old and has a vibrant, loving personality. She has worked as a nurse practitioner for many years and has always been the person caring for others, whether it has been a patient or a loved one in her family/friend circle.

In addition to Betsy's stroke, she has been struggling in her personal life. Unfortunately, she currently does not have a permanent residence and was temporarily residing with a friend when this unimaginable life event took place. Betsy was in the hospital from September 2023 to January 2024. She then went to a rehab for a few weeks and is now staying at a friend's home that is handicap accessible. She is eager to begin her outpatient therapies and continue getting stronger. She has a caregiver living with her as she needs assistance with daily routine. Because of her medical and personal struggles, she hasn't been able to work in months and does need financial support due to her current limitations. She is in the process of waiting to be approved for social security disability which can take months.

Betsy is a kind, caring person and this setback has created multiple challenges for her, including feeling isolated from those she loves. I know that she would appreciate whatever support is given to her on Go Fund Me in order to continue having the necessary assistance needed to help her at this time.
