Betsy Leavitt

Hello everyone, my name is Susan and I am reaching out through this GoFundMe page to ask for help for someone very near and dear to me. You may know her as the woman who smiles at you when she sees you walk through the doors of the café where she works. Maybe she’s offering your dog a bowl of water and a treat. Or maybe she’s arranged for balloons and flowers to help celebrate your birthday during a Saturday morning breakfast at the café. This kind and thoughtful person is Betsy Leavitt. Unfortunately, Betsy needs some help while she recovers from a very unexpected health event. Betsy has a torn rotator cuff… which surprised her to no end, “Do I look like I play tennis or any other sport, how did this happen?” Well, if you know Betsy, you know she’s always helping, lending a hand, and trying to do something to make someone else’s day just a little bit better. I most humbly ask that if you can help Betsy through this recovery, it would be most appreciated. Your prayers and well wishes will also be very welcomed. She should be on the mend for about 8 weeks or so, but rest assured, her smile and helping hand will be back at work as quickly as possible.
