Hello! My name is Betsy Kelly and I'm a professional golfer playing on the Symetra Tour in 2017 (Road to the LPGA). I created this because I need financial help to play in the events during the 2017 season as I'm pursuing my dreams to make it to the LPGA Tour.
A brief background on myself, I grew up in Forest Lake, Minnesota and at the tender age of 4, I started playing golf. My brothers and I grew up playing/practicing almost everyday and I absolutely fell in love with the game.

At 7 years old, I began playing junior tournaments and set goals at a young age. First goal was to make the varsity golf team in 7th grade. Not only did I do that, I won my first tournament all 4' 11" and 75lbs of me. Next goal was to win the Minnesota State High School Girls Golf Championship - which I won in 2009, my Junior year.
In 2010, I took on a fantastic opportunity and played Divison I golf at Colorado State University. As a freshman, I almost won the MWC Championship, taking 2nd place (5 under after 3 rounds) and Sophomore year I had 3 top-ten finishes and five top-20.

I had a successful collegiate career however in 2013 I battled health issues and lost about 25lbs. This was a bump in the road and took me off track to pursue a professional golf career. Upon graduating from Colorado State University in May 2014, with a degree in Business Administration, concentration Corporate & Investment Finance, I decided to accept a job at Jackson National Life in Denver, CO where I earned my FINRA Series 6, Series 7, and Series 63 licenses and many other awards.
During the two years I worked at Jackson (2014-2016) I also got back on track with my health and I put back on 25lbs of muscle, which I found had my golf game back on track and better than ever. After much thought, I left the company to pursue a professional golf career to reach the LPGA, my dream since 4 years old.
With that said, I have recently turned pro (2016) and earned status to play on the Symetra Tour in 2017. My plan for 2017 is to play in the Cactus Tour in Arizona from January - March and then as many Symetra Tour events as I'm financially able to do. I will also play in a few LPGA Monday Qualifiers as well as State Opens.

With my work ethic and passion for the game, I know I can achieve this. However, my only setback is that I don't have the initial money to play in all the events in 2017. It will cost about $40,000 - $50,000 to play - from entry fees, travel expenses, food, lodging etc.
Please help contribute so I can have the opportunity to play in the events and achieve my overall dream of making it onto the largest women's golf stage, the LPGA tour! **** If you own a small business and are interested in sponsorship through marketing on my apparel/bag, please let me know as it is a business write off and a win win! I appreciate any help and promise to give back to all.
I also ask you please follow me on social media as I will be updating everyone on my journey. Instagram (betskelly), Twitter (@bkelly4), Snapchat (betskelly) Thanks again for the support!
