Andy Betts (Bettsy) Memorial Fundraiser
Donation protected
Heartbroken at the loss of one of Kent's finest Gentleman. A true legend and all round star. Irreplaceable to his family and friends. Shine forever Bettsy. Let's give him the send off he so deserves.
Andy Betts passed away on 25 November due to a sudden and tragic work accident in which his actions by those on the scene have described as 'heroic'. Andy was a very popular member of many communities, and so in a doubly cruel blow, his funeral is limited in numbers due to the Covid restrictions.
To give Andy the send off he deserves, his family plans to hold a memorial event as soon as restrictions are lifted to allow the hundreds of people who would have liked to have said goodbye to Andy, give him the send off that he really would have wanted - this will no doubt be involving darts and music!
Those who are kindly asking how they can help or make a contribution to the family are asked to donate to this fund to go into the organisation of this.
Any funds left over will be donated to charity - The Air Ambulance and The Alzheimer's Society.
