Betty , & her 7 surprise babies

Hey everyone, so claire came across the most upsetting sight I've ever seen on Facebook Three rabbits for sale in the smallest cages you could imagine, so small they could only move two steps before being up against the wood. So after speaking to Alison and sharing the advert on The Hutch Heroes, people asked for a fundraiser to be made so we could get them out of there. Within hours the money was raised and plans were made to get them out ASAP.

On Saturday 23nd March Bunny Burrows went to collect the rabbits (and remove the hutches) and the situation was worse than we thought, all they had to eat was a small amount of hay and some bread. They were struggling to get water out of their small bottles as they were so high up and no room for bowls in there with them. There was supposedly two girls and one boy, none of which were neutered or vaccinated and we were assured they had always been kept apart.

After getting them home we sexed them and found there were two boys and one girl ‍♀️ They are now living in clean and safe conditions, enjoying having nutritious food and all the hay they could dream of. They are loving being able to run about and stretch their legs and are looking forward to a much brighter future.

We plan to use this page so you can follow their journey from rags to riches with what we hope to be, a long and happy future!

The downside of this rescue mission for us is that their journey will be expensive, so if you could spare even the cost of a cup of coffee to help us achieve this goal it would be greatly appreciated.

Betty surprising had 7 bouncing babies the day after she was safe and settled, we now need to raise funds to vaccinate & neuter all these babies & mum ,

Boris has been neutered & vaccinated has has been adopted , Barneybis now with his new foster mum, and is awaiting his neuter , he has had is vaccine , in two 2-3 weeks we need to get mum and babies to the vets for there vaccines & books mum in for neuter , we believe this isn’t her first litter as she has done an incredible job with these babies and we believe there are a combination of both boys, Beth has little bunnies ears where a fight would of accursed.
