Betty Layward is Running the 2025 Hackney Half Marathon!

On Saturday 17th May, 85 Betty Layward children from year 1 to year 6, and some of their parents and carers will run the final leg of the Hackney Half Marathon at the school's challenge at Hackney Marshes.

They have been running a mile a week at school for 12 weeks, so this last mile completes their half marathon!

On Sunday 18th May, 12 parents and carers will be running the full half marathon to raise funds for our school!

We are aiming to raise enough money to buy at least 4 new interactive boards for the children’s classrooms which will cost £6K!

The Hackney Half is a really important part of the fundraising effort for the school so please dig deep and support Betty Layward primary school!

When you donate be careful of the 'optional' tip as that does not go to the school! You can delete the tip so that only your/ their donation is what you/ they are charged.
