last year my mother betty brown was diagnosed with stage 4 stomach cancer. she fought the battle for a year than last night Christmas eve night. I got a call from my younger sister saying" come home mom is going to the hospital". she was taken to st vincent in hot springs where she is now in hospice. my mother lived a wonderful life. She was extremely selfless. she dedicated her time to her grandkids and her great-grandsons. She worked for Malvern wal mart deli for many years and brought smiles to so many. She loved her co-workers as well as so many of her customers. She worked as long as she could before cancer and treatments wouldn't let her anylonger. Unfortunately, when she left wal mart she also lost her life insurance with the company. Sadly, with it being the holiday season we are not all in the position to give her the arrangements she asked us to. Anyone that knew my mom knows she wasn't an extravagant type of person. She liked simple and the arrangments she wants is to be cremated and a small memorial service at her home with family and close friends. She has accepted the lord is has said she is ready to go be with her husband and wants us to rejoice in her life. So we are trying to give her that. Any help and prays will be greatly appreciated at this time.
