Battle for Betty Fight Against Cancer

With permission from Elizabeth "Betty", William, Mary Lou & Tom (Terribilini), Patricia, Michael, Kathleen, Daniel and Matthew. I am starting a GoFundMe page for my mother-in-law Elizabeth “Betty” Robb. The Goal is to raise money for Betty to receive the best care during her recovery.

Four weeks ago, our lives were forever changed when my Mother-in-law was diagnosed with Urethral Cancer. One week after the initial diagnosis we were made aware that the cancer had spread to her bones (shoulder, spine and ribs). As you can imagine this was a tough pill to swallow... Hearing that about a loving wife of 58 years, mother of 6, grandmother of 10 and great-grandmother of 3 with 2 more on the way was devastating.

Betty has been courageous & resilient in this fight since first finding out. Currently Betty has completed 6 of 10 radiation treatments and 1 of many more Chemo Therapy Treatments. The radiation treatments have helped with reducing her pain in the targeted bone areas.

Healthcare costs, medications and 24-7 in home care has been a challenge to facilitate & medical bills are becoming overwhelming. Their insurance company has denied coverage for in home care. Any donation received will be greatly appreciated. There is no gift that is too small and will be a blessing to our family.

The Robbs have been lifelong members of the St. Joseph’s Church in Aston and the outpouring of love & support they have experienced over the last few weeks is truly amazing. We are incredibly grateful for all the prayers, words of encouragement and emotional support. Betty’s Faith in God, love and support from her family and friends is what she truly needs to face the fight ahead.
