Be-United for Malaga Orphans

Donation protected
In YOUR community orphans are receiving less than 14e/month, that’s 7 cappucinos you could skip that can make an orphan have essential items, like right sized clothes and sneakers! Children are in need in Malaga and YOU can help today!

Donate just 40 euros and you are giving a growing child what they need for THREE months! You can change a life today! Please make an impact in Malaga for orphans in need.

Every child should have the right to a pretty jumper or a nice pair of trainers. But we all know this is not the case. And right here on our doorstep are 46 children under the care of Cuidad de los Niños in Malaga, who can only dream of such a luxury, or any gift at Christmas.

While these youngsters are well cared for at the orphanage, Hermano Juan Correa (Brother John) has revealed to EWN that they are only provided with the basic necessities.

Can you believe they each have an allowance of just €40 for three months. Could you clothe your child or grandchild on that little amount? We know we couldn’t!

This is why we are staging our Be-United Day on October 31, to show exactly how our communities of different nationalities can work brilliantly together and make this Halloween and Christmas as special as we can for these children.

We are going to host the most SPOOKTACULAR Halloween party ever, bringing some of the youngsters from the orphanage along, and hopefully make October 31 “B for Be-united Day” rather than Brexit Day. And EVERYBODY is welcome!

EWN staff are all dressing up for Halloween and we are taking over a caseta in the Feria ground in Fuengirola, completely decorating it accordingly.

We have organised face painters, games, pony rides, food, drink and live entertainment.

But we don’t want it to end there. We are aiming to raise at least €8,280 to give each child a clothes voucher for €100 so they can have a special outfit or pyjamas, a personalised toiletry bag full of bubble baths etc worth €30 each, and a customised goodie basket for Christmas worth €50 each.

EWN CEO, Michel Euesden, said: ““We want an event to integrate the communities, to have fun, dance and raise money for a worthy cause.

“This isn’t about giving these children something for now, it’s about giving them hope and dreams, and this community will be connected to help them.

“This is just the first stage of our long-term plan. It is not a Euro Weekly event, but a community one. Let’s do this together!”
