I must deliver some very bad news. Beverly has passed but she was so appreciative for the love and support you have all given her. The money raised can be used for services and celebration of life. Thank you all who gave love and support. Victoria
Beverly's Story:
Funny, how things happen. Beverly was beginning a new position with a prestigious law firm in downtown Los Angeles in October of 2018. On a Friday afternoon, about two weeks into the new job, Beverly was getting her hair done for a wedding on Saturday. Strangely she felt a stomach ache and felt very tired. She went home and took a nap to dissipate the annoyance. When she woke up she felt shooting pains throughout her abdominal area. She went to the emergency room, expecting to be told that it was all stress. Instead she was given the most dire of diagnoses. Yes, CANCER, Stage 4 colon! And no, never smoked, never drank, never used drugs, never ate sugar. Go figure.
After an involved colon surgery and hospital stay, she returned home and turned her ambitious nature to finding a natural solution to eliminate those pesky other sites where the colon cancer had landed. Because Beverly has lived a very clean and healthy lifestyle, she does not believe in the standard chemotherapy treatments which poison the whole body including the good cells. She is now immersed in a very comprehensive protocol involving supplements, diet, exercises (physical and spiritual).
Meanwhile, how to rest, heal, do the millions of things to eliminate the problem and at the same time not run out of money. Unfortunately, alternative treatments are not covered by health insurance. Oh yeah, and the doctor told her "no matter what, don’t stress".
So, why contribute to this Go Fund Me? Because as a lawyer, Beverly has a lot to contribute to better this society. Unfortunately, she lost her job and has one legal assignment that she is having difficulty completing due to the ups and downs of her treatment. Beverly is also an accomplished actor and dancer and has a lot to contribute using her talents, skills and ambitions to be of service. And...it could be you. It could be any of us. If we help each other we increase the good on this planet at a time when that is so needed.
This has been a devastating experience but overall, Beverly remains positive and wants to move forward with our help. For those of you who know the beautiful and poised Beverly, I urge you to donate as time is of the essence. For those of you who do not know her but want to support her journey, I invite you to do so. Bless everyone that donates to help Beverly fight.
We will be posting updates during this difficult journey. Victoria & Beverly
