Bex's HYROX For Macmillan Cancer Support

My name is Bex, and on the 17th of November this year (2024) I'll be racing at HYROX Dublin to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

This is my 2nd ever Solo attempt at the Women's Open. I will be putting myself through intense conditions and training to be better than my 1st. This is absolutely nothing to what Cancer patients are fighting every day, to put myself through this challenge is a privilege.

Cancer is a horrible, vengeful and frightening disease that is so close to home for both my family and my partner's family. I wish for nothing except strength to aid the fight against Cancer, which is why I have chosen to raise money for Macmillan this year.

In order to race I must raise at least £400 at least 6 weeks away from the event which is why I'm bringing awareness to the fundraiser now.

For all of the survivors of Cancer and those currently fighting, I see you and I hear you. For anyone who has lost someone to Cancer, this is for you. Please join me in journey to raise money for those who need it the most, any donations are so appreciated. Thank you.
