Beynon Family Support Fundraiser

If you know Kelly Beynon, you know that she is always willing and ready to help others. Especially through her job as a Child Life Specialist. Now it is our turn to help out Kelly. For those that do not know, Kelly is a single mother that is due in July with her second little girl, Eliza. Her first daughter, Cecilia is 2 years old.

At Eliza’s 20 week anatomy scan, Kelly learned that her little girl’s heart was on the opposite side of her body and that the structures of her heart were not typical. After several appointments with specialists, it has been determined that Eliza has heterotaxia along with several other diagnoses that go along with heterotaxia.

What does this mean for Eliza? Eliza will have to have at least two heart surgeries within her first 6 months of life. The first of these surgeries will take place 4-6 days after birth. The second surgery for Eliza will occur at anytime when she is 3-6 months old. Eliza will be spending time in the NICU (neonatal intensive care unit) before her initial surgery and PICU (pediatric intensive care unit) after both surgeries for an unknown amount of time.

Kelly has been through so much in the past year and a half that we want to shower her with the means to support both of her girls. Due to Eliza’s complex medical diagnosis she will need to be off work to attend appointments and for an extended amount of time after Eliza’s surgeries for her recovery. This go fund me will help Kelly with transportation, childcare, medical bills, and every day bills. Supporting Kelly financially will help her be able to take the time off that she needs so that she can help support Eliza and Cecilia.
