Beyond The Light Outreach Project
Donation protected
Beyond the Light Outreach Project (BTLOP) is a non-profit organization that provides assistance by serving those in need.
BTLOP received IRS 501(c) 3 status in 2015, and has to-date, served over 15,945 individuals and families. Since 2015, the primary focus of BTLOP has been to feed and clothe the underserved members of the community. This is done via a Monthly Food Pantry that distributes meat, canned food, and non-perishable items and through the Clothes Closet by providing clothing and shoes to those in need.
In 2017, BTLOP partnered with other organizations to sponsor an annual Christmas Toy Give-Away which benefitted approximately 83 families and 199 children. Due to COVID 19, the toy give away was placed on hold, but would resume in 2022. In 2018, BTLOP initiated a monthly hot meal and sack lunch program by partnering with several local churches and community organizations to provide meals, clothing and hygiene kits for the displaced community. BTLOP also aligned with local law enforcement and provides funding for individuals to obtain legal state identification required for jobs and/or housing.
We want to expand our programs and increase our capabilities to serve our community. With the donated funds we plan to purchase new underwear for the displaced, increase the number of hygiene items and expand the services for those impacted by COVID19.
Here are just a few comments from a survey conducted by those that have benefitted from our programs:
“Helps people in time of need”
“Helps with food assistance, and there is a variety of food items”
“The people that run the food program welcome us, with open hands and love.”
We are graciously asking that you make a donation to help BTLOP continue these acts of basic humanity, and to help those in need improve their quality of life.
