Beyond Your Block

Given the nature of society and the challenges that young Black and Brown youth face, I felt compelled to take action. I'm creating Beyond Your Block to provide high-school-aged young adults with access and opportunities to businesses and mentors they may not otherwise have.

Our goal is to create paid internships that will open the world of technology, software engineering, customer experience design, business development, and more in industries that may be overlooked.

Beyond that, we know the world runs on "who you know" as much as what you know, and a network will prove to be paramount.

I'm raising these funds to cover startup costs associated with setting up a non-profit. This includes legal counsel, filing costs, and basic brand and web development. The sooner we get funded, the sooner we can have an impact so any and all help is so greatly appreciated!
