UIndy Beyond Borders
The volunteer forensic science team from the University of Indianapolis Human Identification Center will be returning to South Texas next month to continue working with other organizations on a large migrant identification initiative . On this trip we will focus on search and recovery, as well as humanitarian aid in the form of water. Our goal is to construct 10 life saving water stations in Brooks County. Our efforts in South Texas are on a completely volunteer basis and we are hoping to raise money to support the travel costs of the team and cover the cost of the water stations. For more information, watch this short video from a previous trip of us setting up a water station and this short video documenting our identification efforts. You can also read about our past humanitarian missions in South Texas and follow our new activities on our blog .
Thank you for your kindness! We greatly appreciate any contribution you are able to make, every little bit helps!
