Nicholas' Eagle Scout Project

Hello,

My name is Nicholas Quezada. I am a Boy Scout with Troop 476 in Montebello, which I have been a part of since First Grade.

For my Eagle project, I will be honoring our American Flag.

Have you ever driven by your neighborhood and seen our American flag hanging by threads looking worn and damaged?

With my dropbox, I hope to get people to see that there is somewhere you can take your ready-to-retire flag.

I will place a drop box similar to a mailbox where the community can take their worn and tethered flags. The flags will then be collected and retired in a respectable and honorable ceremony.

Your kind donation will go towards the box getting wrapped with an American-themed design. I hope to have my box in the Montebello Fire Department or the City Hall.
