We’re reaching out with hopeful hearts and a humble request.

After getting married in 2010, we spent three difficult years trying to start our family. Eventually, we were blessed with our beautiful baby girl—a miracle in every way. What many didn’t know is that her birth took a serious toll on my health, especially on a replacement heart valve I had received through open-heart surgery when I was just 13.

When our daughter was 18 months old, I needed another open-heart surgery. After recovering, we hoped to grow our family again, but more medical news hit hard: both of my fallopian tubes were completely blocked. Natural conception would no longer be possible.

Still determined to grow our family, we got certified to foster in New Mexico. We loved the children we welcomed into our home, but the system made it nearly impossible for us to adopt—even in cases where parental rights were terminated. It was a heartbreaking and eye-opening experience.

After moving to Texas, we considered private adoption, but in a quiet moment of prayer and reflection, we felt something shift. We realized that, if we were meant to add another child to our family, it should be our biological child. And that brought us to just one path: IVF.

We never imagined this would be part of our journey. IVF is emotional, overwhelming, and financially challenging. But we feel peace about moving forward. We’re committed to staying out of debt and doing all we can to make this possible—but the reality is, the bills come fast, and the costs are high.
