Family Flooded out

Hello, My name is Mari Cato, I am writing this in hopes of helping my daughter and her family due to losing everything in this horrific flood, that took place on Monday, July 10th in Central Vermont. The family was evacuated in the evening and left with an overnight bag all residents of the mobile home park believed they would be returning home the next morning. No one expected the level of damage that occurred. Wading thru the mud the next day they were able to rescue their pets they were a bit dirty, but okay. It was apparent everything else was a loss.

Brittany Cato, Kevin Sollace, and children ages 14, 14, 12, and 6, will be needing clothes, shoes, bedding, and any other basics. The family was able to recover a carload of things. This was mainly things hanging on the walls of their home, as the water was waist-high in some areas.

In addition, to their loss, they have to pay to have the mobile home pulled out of the lot, and lot rent until it is removed. They are uncertain as to what they are going to do at this point but will have to pay the lot rent until they have secured housing. They also lost one of their vehicles to the flood, as you can see in one of the pictures the top of the blue truck.

Any help is greatly appreciated and will go towards the children, and finding a new place to live.
