Help Andrew with Medical Bills

Hi, my name is Whitney, and I'm fundraising to help Andrew Leppek with expenses related to his attack last May. For those unaware, Andrew was attacked at gunpoint in his apartment in Traverse City and sustained multiple knife wounds, requiring emergency hand surgery. Financially, Andrew was responsible for medical bills, including the ambulance ride, hand surgery, and hospital stay. Additionally, he had to spend thousands of dollars on the apartment repair and crime scene cleaning fees. Although there will be restitution at some point, the other party has been sentenced to 15+ years, so it will be a long time before this is repaid. We're trying to help Andrew get back on his feet and recover financially and mentally from this, especially as he is now returning to college to pursue his nursing degree.
