Get BGCLSC vans back on the road!

Boys & Girls Clubs of Lake and Sumter Counties had two vehicles break down during the week of November 1. The loss of these vehicles has been devastating to our ability to provide after school pickups for the students who attend two of our Clubs.

We are in desperate need of a passenger van. The van we are trying to replace is no longer safe for transporting children and does not justify the cost to repair such an old vehicle. Safety is our first priority! 

Fortunately, our board was able to raise enough to cover the purchase of one van, however, we are reaching out to our community and the gofundme community to help us match what our board was able to raise so we can purchase another vehicle! 

Boys & Girls Club kids need our programming to provide a safe and welcoming place for them after school. We help with homework, feed them a snack, and offer supportive programming to help these kids become to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens. 

We need to raise this money in the next two weeks so we can continue our regular route at the Club that is missing the van.
