Update- Celebration of life for Ed Borris is May 6 1-4pm at Buffalo Creek Brewing in Long Grove, IL. Food and drink will be provided.

Hello family and friends.

I am reaching out today to ask for your love and support for my dad, Ed Borris. If anyone knows my dad, you know his love for toy soldiers. So
when I told him I am rallying the troops of support he yelled CHARGE!

My name is Melody and I am his youngest daughter. Ed has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Cancer. A year ago, he had Bladder Cancer and had three surgeries performed to remove the masses. We thought we won the battle against cancer, but sadly a year later, his cancer spread and now things have gotten worse. He has been out of work for a long time now and has exhausted all his disability funds for the time being and we are unsure how to move forward. We are worried that eventually, he will lose his job, and then that will create a lot more issues that we cannot even think about now. He is currently in and out of the hospital receiving Chemotherapy, and additional care that is needed. We are selling necessary things to make ends meet and both my sister and I have been paying out of our pocket to help with any expenses.

I am not one to ever ask for financial help in any way, and never wanted to resort to this, but I am at a loss for what else can be done at this time. Medical bills keep increasing and the money coming in is less and less. Our lives have all been flipped upside down and things have become so overwhelming so quickly. We are all emotionally and mentally drained. Any little amount would help so much. We are trying very hard to stay positive and optimistic. My father is so miserable and is in a lot of pain. I have no more tears left to cry. I miss my smart ass joking always father.

If you would like to financially support my father, Ed, it would serve as a great blessing for our family as we navigate through this uneasy time. Funds raised will help with medical bills and other expenses incurred during this difficult time. Please spread the word about my Dad's fight. He is definitely a fighter.

We humbly thank you so much for your generosity.

Sincerely,

Melody and Harmony
