Hi, my name is Santasha the niece of Jacqueline Burrows-Carey, whom transitioned on June 16th 2024 after a long battle with multiple forms of cancer. I am creating this go fund me to help with her funeral expenses. She was an employee for Kelly Education Services but, due to her multiple surgeries and health issues she was unable to work and lost all insurance coverages.

She had a long fight with cancer The doctors were amazed at her zeal to live. In 2016-2017 her breast cancer went into remission and she was cancer-free for 5 years 2023 and 2024 was a uphill battle for her. She had a long fight with cancer. She had cancer of the spinal fluid (Leptomeningeal), a double mastectomy, uterine cancer, brain cancer, diabetes and she had suffered a stroke due to the brain cancer.

She was a walking miracle. The doctor stated that the part of her brain that was removed she shouldn't have been able to talk, but she was still talking and encouraging everyone.

She was a ray of sunshine and would greet you with good morning joy, she loved Jesus, her children, family and even strangers. To know her was to love her even with her sternness. She prayed for people while in the hospital and often encouraging them even when she needed it for herself. She led many to Christ, she would say do you know who my daddy is? She would send multiple messages to encourage everyone daily. She would give you the shirt off her back to help you. She helped many find their way when they felt lost she was loved by many. She has ran her race, she has completed her course and she will be greatly missed, but no more suffering.
