For Heather

I am trying to raise money for Heather.

For those who don’t know the story, she has had four brain surgeries related to a brain tumor. Because of the damage done by the tumor and the surgeries she now has Parkinson’s and her throat is closing. We don’t know how much time she has left and living with a tracheotomy is something she can’t and won’t do. Her wish is to travel this beautiful country and see all the things she has not been able to see. Her condition also improves when on the road so we try to travel as often and as cheaply as possible. 

Our goal is to raise enough money to pay our medical debt and travel while we still can. 

Heather is my world. The thought of her dying is harder than I can say in words. She has been steadfast against starting a
go-fund-me but with her most current diagnosis I was able to talk her into it. She said looking at death changes things. Why not when the alternative is not being here. 
What makes this so urgent is we could be talking days rather than months or years. 

The question she asks herself is “What do I want to do with the time I have left?”

The answer is travel for as long as she can and see what amazing things this country has to show.
