Jackson’s education fund

Dear family and friends of The Pomfret Family,

We sadly and unexpectedly lost a great friend, supportive colleague and an incredible family man this past week. Jeremy Pomfret was an amazing father to his five year old son Jackson and dedicated husband to his loving wife Kerry.

Jeremy and Kerry spent every free moment as a family together creating ever-lasting memories for their "miracle baby," Jackson. The sports lover in Jeremy could often be found pitching baseballs to Jackson or training him on the ice to be a future hockey star. Their summer weekends were always spent as a family by the water...whether riding waves together at the beach or boating on Johnson's Pond. Jackson idolized his dad. He loved his special alone time with Jeremy and wouldn't hesitate to rush his mom out the door with her friends to have "Guy's Night" with his dad. Even though Jeremy may no longer be with us physically, it is without a doubt that his spirit will live on in the hearts and minds of everyone he knew and loved but especially in Kerry and Jackson.

This scholarship fund has been set up in memory of Jeremy for his son, Jackson Pomfret. This scholarship fund will allow Kerry to continue to provide Jackson with enriching activities and educational opportunities throughout his childhood.

Jeremy will be missed but never forgotten as the friend, colleague and family man that he was. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Jackson Pomfret Scholarship Fund.
