In Loving Memory of Bhai Raj Singh

On the night of February 23rd, our beloved Bhai Raj Singh was tragically shot while taking a peaceful night stroll around the Gurdwara Sahib, a place he deeply cherished and did Kirtan at. Bhai Raj Singh Ji was the main kirtania at the Sikh Center of Pacific Coast in Selma, California. Despite being swiftly transported to the nearby hospital, Bhai Raj Singh passed away due to his injuries, leaving behind a community in mourning and a family in despair.

Bhai Raj Singh was not just a pillar of our community but also the main source of support for his family back in India which includes unmarried siblings and a mother. With his father's passing during his childhood, Raj Singh took it upon himself to provide and care for his loved ones, embodying the true spirit of selflessness and dedication that defines Sikhi. His untimely departure has left his family vulnerable, facing an uncertain future without their primary provider.

This GoFundMe campaign aims to honor Bhai Raj Singh's legacy and to extend a helping hand to his family in India, who are in dire need of support during this tragic time. The funds raised will assist with medical expenses, funeral arrangements, and crucially, offer financial stability to his family, ensuring they are taken care of in the absence of their beloved Raj Singh.
